The Area
The central location of Drumnadrochit makes it a fine starting point for touring the Highlands. You can take a different route each day. It is worth noting that if you come in winter you are equidistant between the cairngorm ski slopes and Nevis Range, so you can change skiing venues as conditions dictate.
Local Attractions
Virtually on the door step you will find Urquhart Castle and the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre, approximately 15 minutes in either direction.
