Loch Ness Bay Camping

Located just fifteen minutes walk from the edge of Loch Ness. On our 12 acre site at Borlum Farm, we have created 46 hard standing pitches, 40, with electric hook ups, drinking water taps and lights are provided for each. A large 4 acre site for tents provides great space for all, plus shower/toilet facilities make this site the place to camp in the Highlands.

We offer large pitches on a spacious campsite with or without electrical hook up, waste water disposal points are available on site. There is a coin-operated laundry and free WiFi, as well as two outdoor dishwashing sinks. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please remember we are a working farm and livery as well so there will be sheep and horses in nearby fields.

The pitches are designed in a horseshoe shape with a large grassy central area. Free wi-fi is available right across the Park. Roof tents should book hardstanding pitches. There is no charge for children under the age of 3 years.

Local shops are half a mile away. A Scot Mid Store is open from 6.30am-10.00pm daily. There is a cashpoint at the Coop and a Post Office is located in the local Pharmacy. We have a medical centre in the village.

Local Facilities & Attractions

There also several places to eat within a half a mile which will suit most appetites and give you a taste of Scotland’s Larder.

Urquhart Castle and the famous Loch Ness Exhibition Centre are approximately 15 minutes walk from the campsite. A walk across our fields to the shore of Loch Ness complete a with beautiful viewpoint is also only 15 minutes away.  

Craigmonie Walk and Viewpoint also gives stunning panoramic views across Drumnadrochit and loch ness.
