Terms and Conditions 2025

In the interest of all campers, please observe the following terms and conditions.  The proprietors reserve the right to dismiss any campers from the camp site without refund for non-compliance.

Bookings

  • Check in is from 2 pm, please book in at reception and if no one is present, please check the board for your allotted pitch.  Please do no park in any other pitch. 
  • If in a tent, please make your way to the grass area to pitch your tent, these are not allocated on the board.  
  • Please leave the premises by 12 noon on departure day.
  • Free WIFI is available all over the site.  The network is called BORLUM-FREE-CENTRAL and no passcode is required.
  • If you wish to stay an extra night or two, we welcome this but please remember this is subject to availability and you must speak to a member of staff to do this.
  • If you arrive without a booking, please check the website and book or speak to a member of staff in reception.
  • If you do not have a booking, please do not enter the site and take a reserved pitch.

Noise, partying and anti-social behaviour

  • There is a 5-mile speed limit throughout the campsite!
  • No noise, music or singing between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am.  Please keep noise levels respectful at all times. We are not a party site, if you look to party into the small hours, we are not the campsite for you!
  • Guests who fail to adhere to adhere to guidelines on noise, partying or any other antisocial behaviour will be asked to leave immediately and without refund.
  • Misuse of or damage caused to buildings or services will be proportionally charged.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person at any time.
  • Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult in all areas of the campsite at all times.

Dogs:

  • All dogs to be kept on the lead at all times on the site and walking in the surrounding farmland.  This is a working farm with livestock.  Please bag and dispose of any dog mess in the bin. 
  • Exercising off the lead on the site is forbidden at all times, in the interest of other visitors.

Fires

  • Sorry – no camp fires or open fires at any time!
  • No barbeques on the grass!
  • Barbeques or stoves are permitted on hard standing only.
  • Our site is set out to keep vehicles parked at a safe distance from each other to reduce fire risk / spread at all time, please respect this.
  • Do not make fire bridges – with awnings etc between neighbouring vehicles.
  • In the event of an emergency please phone 999.
  • Please dispose of all litter in the wheelie bins.  Recycle, if possible, in recycle bins.  And remember litter poses a fire risk.

Liability

  • When you make a booking at Loch Ness Bay Camping you accept these terms and conditions and agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any person or animal in your group.
  • Loch Ness Bay Camping will not accept responsibility for ay loss or damage to the property of any customer, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery and motor vehicles, however caused.
  • Loch Ness Bay Camping reserve the right to alter any terms and conditions at any time.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

  • If your plans change and you request to come on a different date, we will always try to accommodate your change, but we cannot guarantee that your request can be met.
  • If we cannot accommodate a change to your booking, we will refund your booking less a £5 administration charge.
  • You will be charged the full amount of your booking if you fail to arrive at the campsite.
  • If you leave the campsite early due to weather conditions, failure of your equipment or any reason not within control and responsibility of the campsite you will be charged the full amount.
  • If you cancel or change your booking less than 24 hours before the date of your arrival, you will not receive a refund.
  • GROUP BOOKINGS: A deposit of £100.00 is charged for all group bookings, this will not be refunded if you cancel within three weeks of your arrival date. 
  • GROUP BOOKINGS: Full payment is due three weeks before your arrival date. Any cancellation after the balance of payment is made will not be refunded.
